Week 7
my plan so far on my ethnography is simply to keep gathering my information and present it in a way that would make sense to the general public. i need to gather more research on my topic specifically because i have a lot of broad information, and i also need to give more time devoted to my community. i need to finish up my research by doing more interviewing than anything else. i plan on doing that the week before, or the week of spring break im not sure yet how ill go about it though.

I am in the same spot you are in with my club. I feel as though I need more interviews and I need to spend more time with them taking notes and observing more behavior to be able to write an effective paper about what I have been doing all semester. What exactly do you think are effective ways of presenting information like this to a teacher through a paper? I am curious becuase I am still trying to figure that out for myself and you have stated that you know so any and all advice would be much apprciated while we try and gather more information and finish up this project.
I am in the opposite spot you are. I have gathered a lot of information through interviews. I have done about four sit down interviews with first year architecture students, and have spent quite a few hours observing in the studio and a lot just observing my rooommate doing her architecture work in our room. The other night I pulled an all nighter in the studio and that got me quite a few of my observation hours. I'm really nervous on how to present the information. Most of m information is about the students and their opinions rather than the actual program itself, and it makes my research seem less formal.
